Who is birdwinks?
Hi I’m Christina! I’m the writer behind birdwinks.com, a solo female travel blog founded in the summer of 2016, while still being stuck in 9 to 5. Six months later, I said goodbye to Germany and office outfits, pursuing adventure and writing about local connections, hospitality and a sustainable traveling lifestyle. Chasing extraordinary experiences on an ordinary budget. My passion is to spread positivity and the stories of human kindness, and thus to encourage people to travel more by giving valuable tips and inspiration.
Meanwhile, I freelance as a writer, digital marketer and web developer. Learn more about my previous professional work experience on my LinkedIn profile.

How can we work together?
If you’re looking to target independent travelers, we’re a good match!
I’m open to various partnership opportunities that reflect the site’s core values. Specifically, these are brands that enable women to travel safely, frequently and adventurously, that prioritize travel for all people, and demonstrate commitment to sustainable travel and lifestyle. Always interested to explore new places and embark on adventures to share them with my readers, I look forward to publish exciting stories from the road, reviews of the places I stayed / products I used and share stunning images of these experiences themselves.
What I’m interested in are new and mutually beneficial partnerships to share with my followers. Working with travel bloggers is a creative way to deliver fast promotion of a brand or destination and see immediate results through social media and blog articles.
